Love. Protection. Direction. Focus. Strength. The Victorians packed a lot into an arrow.

They were romantics with a flair for the dramatic, pinning meaning onto every charm, every stone, every carefully chosen symbol worn close…An arrow didn’t just decorate, it declared something.

This piece declares quite a lot.

Two arrows stretch outward, steadfast, a little imperious , holding the space between where you’ve been and exactly where you’re going. At the center, a magic opal, shifting in every colour and a halo around it. Part of the Worn Language mini collection PT 2…

Each piece starts from different waxes pieces that I cut, shape and re-form, letting them settle into new compositions. I twisted the wire, each one with its own unique form. This process gives the pieces a sense of history and heritage, old details reimagined, reshaped, and carried forward in shiny metal..

These are the final pieces from my Worn Language mini collection, where I explored symbolic language in jewellery. It was a joy to make, and I hope that comes through when you wear them.
