Love. Protection. Direction. Focus. Strength. The Victorians packed a lot into an arrow.

They were romantics with a flair for the dramatic, pinning meaning onto every charm, every stone, every carefully chosen symbol worn close…An arrow didn’t just decorate, it declared something.

This arrow, with its twisted wire shaft and ornate head, point the fortune ahead of where you’ll be going…a petite wishbone, club suit and soft pink Morganite swing and twinkle while you move about…

Each piece starts from different waxes pieces that I cut, shape and re-form, letting them settle into new compositions. I twisted the wire, each one with its own unique form. This process gives the pieces a sense of history and heritage, old details reimagined, reshaped, and carried forward in shiny metal..

These are the final pieces from my Worn Language mini collection, where I explored symbolic language in jewellery. It was a joy to make, and I hope that comes through when you wear them
